BRCM College of Business Management was Established in 1998 by Sarvajanik Education Society, as Pro-Active Effort in Management Education to offer BBA Programme in Affiliation with VNSGU.

B.R.C.M. College of Business Administration is managed by the most reputed Sarvajanik Education Society, which is a premier Education Trust, uniquely operated in the most democratic way. It was founded in 1912 with an objective of catering to the educational needs of the citizens of Surat and South Gujarat in the most economic way. Since its inception – which now reaching almost a century -, it has spread the light of education in the region by providing education ranging from pre-primary to the college level. Its founding fathers had started this institution with very noble aims and far reaching vision. As a result today Sarvajanik education society runs 35 education institutes where about 35000 students receive education of high quality. Sarvajanik education society, where growth is the tradition and which is well known to transform challenges into opportunities, has year after year, come forward to start new courses of study.

The Generous Donation from the Ballaram Hanumandas Charitable Trust has contributed the valuable share in the development of the basic infrastructure of the college to begin with and then their continual supports to the various development activities has facilitated the college towards the path of excellence . This trust is operating a reputed Engineering college and a boarding school in Bahal dist., of the state Haryana. Trusties are better known in Surat through their business activities in textiles as Pratibha Group of Industries.

The College has Established its name for quality management system, quality education and quality students output. The Quality Management system thus adopted by BRCM was endorsed by the highest international ISO 9001-2000 category certification. BRCM college is the first university affiliated management college to be certified by ISO 9001-2000 QMS in entire Gujarat state.

The BRCM College is situated at Parle Point, posh locality of Surat in the V.T. Choksi Campus with other well-known colleges like V.T.Choksi Law College, Education College and S.P.B. Commerce College. Infrastructure facilities covers the spacious well ventilated class rooms, modern computer laboratory with internet facilities, knowledge rich library, reading room, college hall, girls room, sports room, etc. Campus has the playground shared by the other campus colleges. Students also share the facilities of the large and well maintained game specific grounds managed by the Sarvajanik Education Society for all its educational institutions.

The college has created standards of discipline, performance, infrastructure and quality of education and earned a great reputation in short span of time. Apart from the structured classroom teaching other pedagogles like interactive learning through discussion, class participation, case studies are practiced and encouraged. Our students have earned lots of appreciation by their successful contribution to the management of events like Udyog of The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), PC Expo & I.T. Expo, of South Gujarat Information Technologists Association, “Vidya”-“Suman” exhibition of Surat Municipal Corporation and also Asian Gymnastic Championship.

Our students have professionally conducted market research for the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) for their Business Information Cell and the work was greatly appreciated not only by SGCCI but also by the Industry and the business in general. Our students also played an important role in event management of the convocation 2003 function of the South Gujarat University where degrees were given by the president of India his highness Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Students have also shown the high degree of social responsibility by serving the affected people in Natural Calamities. They have also done remarkable work as responsible citizens and worked for national integrity.

This list could be endless. It is not that students excel only in academic and allied practical activities. Be it elocution, sports or cultural activities, BRCM Students have been winners on numerous occasions, often edging out P.G. students. To boost the confidence and knowledge of students, guest lectures of experts from industry,profession and other institutions are regularly arranged. Above all, the largest pool of talent is our permanent and visiting faculty.

Our past students are placed in reputed organizations and Post Graduate Institutions. Their performance has been excellent and is highly appreciated. Thereby the presence of the college is more prominently felt in business, industry and P.G. Institutions as the college of repute in under graduate management studies. Highly reputed organizations come for campus interviews looking of placement of our talented students.
